Peter Cavell is a composer, lyricist, pianist, and writer. His work touches on topics like mythology, ritual, religion, sexuality, and geek culture. Currently, he is a Musical Director at the Second City Training Centre of Toronto, where he teaches musical improv and composes or improvises music for performances. Cavell's works have been performed in Canada, the US, the UK, Holland, Bosnia, Singapore, Japan, and Australia. Cavell received degrees in classical composition from the University of Western Ontario and the University of Victoria.
