Peter R. Orszag is an American economist and public policy expert known for his leadership in government and finance. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from the London School of Economics and served as Director of the Congressional Budget Office from 2007 to 2008 and Director of the Office of Management and Budget under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2010. Orszag later held senior roles at Citigroup and Lazard and became CEO of Lazard in 2023.
