Polly Stryker is a producer, editor, reporter and podcaster. Currently, she is a producer for Wondery, where she produces the podcasts "American History Tellers," "Against the Odds," and "American Scandal," and where she formerly produced the podcasts "Call Me Curious" and "Business Wars." Previously, Stryker worked for more than 15 years in public media in California, editing and producing statewide daily news and interview programs, including "The California Report" and "AirTalk." My portfolio includes producing for: Wondery, Quanta Magazine's podcast, The Joy of wh(Y), Adaptivity, the Center for the Developing Adolescent’s podcast and the World Affairs podcast, hosted by Ray Suarez. I am an immigrant to the U.S. and consider myself to be a global citizen. I grew up in Cairo, and I believe deeply in cultural sensitivity and connecting people to elevate the conversation. I read, write and speak intermediate Egyptian Arabic.
