Dr. Rachel M. Blum is a political scientist whose work focuses on political parties, ideology, political behavior, and computational methods. Currently, she is Assistant Professor of American Politics at the University of Oklahoma. She also teaches at the Carl Albert Center’s National Education for Women leadership program.
Previously, Blum was on the faculty at Miami University.
Blum's first book, "How the Tea Party Captured the GOP: Insurgent Factions in American Politics," was published in 2020.
Blum received her Ph.D. from Georgetown University.
