Ramona Ausubel is an author. She is also an Assistant Professor at Colorado State University. She has taught at Tin House, The Community of Writers, Writing X Writers, the Low-Residency MFA programs at the Institute of American Indian Arts and Bennington.Ausubel's work has appeared in The New Yorker, Tin House, The New York Times, NPR’s Selected Shorts, One Story, Electric Literature, Ploughshares, The Paris Review, and The Oxford American, as well as in the anthology The Best American Fantasy. Her first book, "No One is Here Except All of Us," was published in 2012. Ausubel has received the PEN Center USA Literary Award for Fiction, and has been a finalist for the VCU Cabell First Novelist Award, the New York Public Library Young Lions Fiction Award, the California and Colorado Book Awards, and the Story Prize.Ausubel received her M.F.A. from the University of California Irvine.
