Randy Blythe is an American musician, best known as the lead vocalist and lyricist for the heavy metal band Lamb of God. Born on February 21, 1971, Blythe has been a central figure in the metal scene since the band’s formation in the 1990s. His powerful vocal style and socially conscious lyrics have earned him recognition as one of the most influential frontmen in modern metal. In addition to his music career, Blythe is an author and photographer, having released his memoir Dark Days (2015), which details his experiences surrounding his 2012 manslaughter trial in the Czech Republic and his reflections on justice and personal resilience. Blythe continues to tour and record with Lamb of God while pursuing various creative projects outside of music.
