Randy Kim is a queer Vietnamese-Khmer American storyteller, community organizer, and non-profit professional based in Chicago. He is the creator and host of The Bánh Mì Chronicles, a podcast exploring the intersections of food, culture, and the Southeast Asian diaspora.
With a background in hyper-local community organizing and a passion for oral history, Randy uses his platform to amplify marginalized voices and preserve heritage through modern dialogue. When he’s not behind the mic or working in the Chicago non-profit sector, he’s likely traveling, practicing his Vietnamese, or writing for his Substack, Bánh Mì Bites.
