The journey of grief is a personal journey, which is different for everyone. Along the way we are all looking for “tools” and bits of wisdom to help us on difficult days and with our journey. We are also mindful of the fact our loved one is not here, but we would like to know they are ok! There are days that we need reminders, or we are looking for “signs” that our loved one is ok. Today Mitch Carmody joins us to talk about some examples of these signs. Mitch has been on his journey of grief for almost 33-years, since his son Kelly died. Mitch has had many people share with him the signs they have received on their journeys of grief. This episode of “Signs – Part I” will be released on our You Tube Channel the following week, if you would like to “see” some of these “signs”! While We Wait: Joseph   Things can seem tough. We can do the right thing and still have things not work out. We can and will be treated unjustly. Joseph was sold by his brothers and unjustly imprisoned. Joseph had no idea if his wait in jail would be days, years, or decades. What did he do while he faced a totally unknown wait? No matter our circumstances, we can choose to make the world a better place, to be a contribution while we wait. This week one of our #WholeLifeTakeAways asked: How can you commit to being a contribution in every circumstance while we wait?   So, what about you? Anything come to mind for ways you make this commitment? Of course we would love to hear your thoughts and ideas by using one of the following:■ Text/Voicemail:  407-965-1607■ Email:  podcast@wholelife.church■ WLC Mobile App:  Media Tab/Podcast Banner and Use Text and Email linksSocial Media:  #WholeLifePodcast/ #WholeLifeTakeAwaysSUBSCRIBE NOW and get all the #WholeLifeTakeAways! Speaking of Grace is our weekly message at the WholeLife Church, in a convenient podcast format. We all know that we will lose someone important and precious to us in our lifetime. It’s not an ‘if’ but a ‘when’. However, no one is expecting to lose a sibling early in life and the lifetime of unknowns that follow.  In today’s episode we welcome Bethany Adams who lost her younger brother Hudson in 2016 at the age of 19. No one is supposed to leave this world that young and there is no road map to help navigate the lasting impact of such grief. Don’t miss this conversation filled with memories and a ‘what matters most’. To read Bethany’s blog post; ‘Reflections’, please visit our blog: http://hopethrugrief.com/reflections We welcome your comments and questions! Send an email to hopethrugrief@gmail.com and please share our show with anyone you know that is struggling with loss and grief. You can find us on the internet to continue the conversation! Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/hopethrugrief Twitter: https://twitter.com/HTGPodcastInstagram:  https://www.instagram.com/hopethrugriefWebsite: http://hopethrugrief.com.Subscribe & Share: https://hope-thru-grief.captivate.fm/listenJordan Smelski Foundation: http://www.jordansmelskifoundation.org Tune in for new episodes every Thursday morning wherever you listen to podcasts! Marshall Adler and Steve Smelski, co-hosts of Hope Thru Grief are not medical, or mental health professionals, therefore we cannot and will not give any medical, or mental health advice. If you, or anyone you know needs medical, or mental health treatment, please contact a medical, or mental health professional immediately. Thank youMarshall AdlerSteve Smelski
