Dr. Rhae Lynn Barnes is a historian, author, public speaker, and multimedia storyteller. Her work focuses on the globalization of American popular culture, and she is an expert on the history of amateur blackface minstrelsy. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of History at Princeton University. Barnes is also a co-founder and CEO of the website U.S. History Scene. She was a Senior Advisor and guest on the PBS documentary series "Reconstruction: America after the Civil War."
