Raquel Jaramillo Palacio is an author and graphic designer. She is the author of several novels for children, including the best-selling "Wonder," which was adapted into a film in 2017. Palacio's early works appeared in The Village Voice and The New York Times Book Review, which led to her career as an art director and graphic designer who designs book jackets. Her first graphic novel, "White Bird," was published in 2017. Palacio majored in illustration at the Parsons School of Design.
