Robert Caro is an American journalist and biographer, with critically acclaimed biographies, particularly The Power Broker (1974), a monumental work on New York urban planner Robert Moses, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography. Caro also has an ongoing multi-volume biography of President Lyndon B. Johnson, The Years of Lyndon Johnson, which has so far produced four volumes since 1982. This series has earned him two Pulitzer Prizes and several National Book Awards.
