Robert A. K. Gonyo is a theatre director, actor, voiceover artist, podcaster, musician, and tour-guide. He is a co-founder and the Artistic Director of Co-Op Theatre East. He is the host (using the stage name “Professor Mortimer”) and producer of the horror audio drama podcast "Apparitions" and of the off-off-Broadway podcast "Go See a Show!." He produces and narrates the "Tracing Xenakis" and "ICEcast" podcasts.Gonyo produced Co-Op Theatre East’s long-running Radio COTE series of new plays on social themes. He has directed several radio plays, including "A New Cassette" and "Monument Valley," which were featured on the Geste podcast. He also narrates audiobooks. He performs music with Todd Meredith as the duo Acoustic Pic Slide. He also conducts ghost tours around Washington Square Park, literary pub crawls, and food tours of New York.Gonyo received his B.A. in Political Science and Creative Arts from Siena College, and his M.A. Performance Studies from New York University.
