Robin B. Wright (b. 1946) is an American foreign affairs analyst, author and journalist who has covered wars, revolutions and uprisings around the world. Wright is a fellow at the Wilson International Center, a think tank dedicated to "forge a stronger America and more secure world." Wright has reported from more than 140 countries for The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, The Sunday Times, and CBS News. Her 2011 book Rock the Casbah: Rage and Rebellion across the Islamic World won the Overseas Press Club award for best book on international affairs. Her eight other books include Sacred rage : the crusade of modern Islam (1985) and The Islamists are Coming: Who They Really Are (2012).
