Robyn Linscott is Director of Education and Family Policy at The Arc of the United
States. She leads The Arc’s work on federal education and family policy issues
that shape daily life for children with disabilities and their families, including
early childhood, K-12, higher education, child care, child welfare, and paid family
leave. Her work spans Congress and federal agencies, with a focus on
strengthening rights and supports for students with disabilities.
Before joining The Arc, Robyn served as Legislative Assistant and Education
Policy Fellow in then Senator Kamala Harris’ office, working on education, health,
and labor issues. Prior to her policy career, she taught students with disabilities in
New York City for eight years. She earned bachelor’s degrees in history, dance,
and secondary education from Ursinus College and a master’s degree in special
education from Fordham University.
