Rutger Bregman is a Dutch popular historian and author. He has published four books on history, philosophy and economics, including "Utopia for Realists: How We Can Build the Ideal World," which has been translated into twenty languages.
Writing first for a Dutch audience, Rutger calls for us all to fight against rising sea levels that are sinking the Netherlands deeper into water, but also to fight against ourselves – against our apathy towards the climate disaster. Genieten dus!

And not because we can learn to be better, but because deep down, we already are.Support us by supporting our sponsors!Great Courses Plus — thegreatcoursesplus.com/bigideaThe Next Big Idea Club — Visit https://www.nextbigideaclub.com/podcast and use the code FREE3 for a three-month pass.
