Ruth Barnes was a music pundit, radio presenter, and voiceover artist. Currently, she is the director of an independent podcast agency. She also founded "The Other Woman," a show on London's Soho Radio that showcases the best in alternative talent in music, comedy, and the arts. Barnes is known for her appearances on BBC and Radio 4. She was the voice of the Radio 4 documentaries "Mad About the Boy" and "The Lost Genius of Judee Sill." She was also BBC Radio 4's Front Row music reviewer. Barnes received her B.A. in English, History, and Classics from the University of Cape Town.
