Sam Nilsson is a geophysicist who came home every day from third grade and watched the Hoth snow battle scene on VHS until the tape wore out. The first video game he owned was Star Wars: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter and Star Wars Episode I: Racer on Nintendo 64. He has watched every Star Wars movie countless times (though he has not read Star Wars Legends) and competes in X-Wing competitions in his free time. His favorite character is Grand Admiral Thrawn and his favorite Star Wars movie is Rogue One. In the time he is not consuming Star Wars media, Sam also enjoys nerding out over archery, board games and rocks. Growing Up Skywalker is his first podcast.
