Sam Sternberg works as a doctoral researcher in the Doudna Lab at University of California, Berkeley. He contributed to the growth of the revolutionary genome editing tool, CRISPR, and he was awarded the Scaringe Award from the RNA Society and the Harold Weintraub Graduate Student Award from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
