Samir Eskanda (سمير إسكندر) is a Palestinian musician, organizer, and human rights activist based in the UK. He played guitar and drums on the Flats' album Better Living (2012) and percussion on The Voyeurs' album Rhubarb Rhubarb (2014).
Since then, he has been active in the cultural boycott movement in support of Palestinian liberation. He provides strategic guidance to many worldwide campaigns, including appeals to musicians, filmmakers and other artists to end performances and screenings in Tel Aviv. His views on the necessary intersection of culture and activism have appeared in Jacobin, the Hollywood Reporter, Sky News, and other outlets.
