Sandy Hudson is an activist, writer and creator who believes in winning as a framework for justice. An audacious organizer, Sandy is unafraid to have and host the conversations needed to bring real change to the forefront. Hope, and a commitment to possibility keep her in the fight for a better world. Sandy is also the founder of the Black Lives Matter movement presence in Canada and helped to found the Black Legal Action Centre, a specialty legal aid clinic providing services for Black people in Ontario. Sandy is currently based in Los Angeles and is studying law at UCLA.Sandy’s is co-editor of the bestselling anthology Until We Are Free: Reflections on Black Lives Matter in Canada (2020).
