Murder Coaster cohost Sarah Hartman is a licensed psychotherapist and tattoo artist, currently practicing in upstate New York. Raised by two former forensic evidence technicians, some of Sarah’s earliest memories include learning to dust for finger prints and deciphering police scanner codes. Through her work on Murder Coaster, she hopes to present even the most famous true crime cases from fresh creative angles that will both entertain and catalyze public analysis. Sarah is driven by a desire to understand the psychosocial underpinnings of both human atrocities and altruism and to explore the efficacy and limitations of our modern justice system. When not cheerfully dissecting true crime cases with cohost Matthew Brockmeyer, Sarah enjoys replicating movie props and exploring the mountains and backwoods of rural West Virginia.
