Sarah is an art historian, educator, curator and writer who focuses on modern art, particularly philosophy, politics, and artistic process. She heads the art history program at City Lit and previously worked worked as lead educator in Prints and Drawings at the British Museum. She has also worked at Wellcome Collection exploring the connections of art, medicine and human experience. Before moving to London, she was as a tenured professor of Art History based in Los Angeles. Sarah holds an MA in Art History on19th century France and an MA in Cultural Studies focused on the use of Instagram in anticapitalist protest.
