Sarah James McLaughlin is a true-crime author and investigative storyteller whose work exposes criminal cases. She co-authored "The WVU Coed Murders: Who Killed Mared and Karen?" and co-produces "Appalachian Mysteria", a podcast dedicated to the region’s most tangled and unresolved Appalachian stories. She is the current host of "The Opportunist", which centers on abuses of power, exploitation, and manipulation. She previously hosted "Vigilante" during its 2024 season.
