Sarah Mayes is the Producer and Co-Host of "By the Sound," Seattle's community-invested podcast. She’s also the owner and General Manager of Ahoy Hoy! Media LLC. A lifelong political nerd, Sarah has worked for four lawmakers; most recently at Seattle City Council. She earned her BA in History from Reed College, and has spend nearly half of her life working in libraries. Sarah is a transgender woman, and a single mother of two boys. She has lived in Seattle since 2006.
