Dr. Sasha Polakow-Suransky is an investigative journalist and author. Currently, he is the Deputy Editor of Foreign Policy Magazine.
Previously, Polakow-Suransky was the International Opinion Editor of the New York Times. Before that, he was Senior Editor at the Council on Foreign Relations, and a contributing editor at the American Prostpect.
Polakow-Suransky's first book, "The Unspoken Alliance: Israel's Secret Relationship with Apartheid South Africa," was published in 2010. His second book, "Go Back to Where You Came From: The Backlash Against Immigration and the Fate of Western Democracy," was published in 2017.
Polakow-Suransky received his B.A. in History and Urban Studies from Brown University, and his Ph.D. in Modern History from Oxford University.
