Scott Edelman is an fantasy and horror fiction writer and editor. He also hosts the podcast "Eating the Fantastic."Edelman's fiction has appeared in Analog, The Twilight Zone, Postscripts, Absolute Magnitude, Science Fiction Review and Fantasy Book, and in dozens of anthologies. His poetry has appeared in Asimov’s, Amazing, and Dreams and Nightmares. His first novel, "The Gift," was published in 1990.Edelman worked for the Syfy Channel for more than thirteen years, most recently as the Editor of Blastr. He was the founding editor of Science Fiction Age, which he edited during its entire eight-year run. He has also edited other genre magazines such as Sci-Fi Universe and Sci-Fi Flix, as well as non-genre magazines such as Satellite Orbit and Rampage. He has been a four-time Hugo Award finalist for Best Editor.Edelman worked as an assistant editor for Marvel Comics in the 1970s. He wrote for Captain Marvel, Master of Kung Fu, Omega the Unknown, Time Warp, House of Mystery, Weird War Tales, Welcome Back, Kotter and others. He also wrote for Saturday morning cartoons for Hanna Barbera.
