Shalma Wegsman is a science writer, communicator, and developer whose work focuses on physics and media. Currently, she is a writing fellow at Quanta Magazine, where she writes about physics. She also co-hosts, edits, and produces the podcast "Why This Universe?" Previously, Wegsman was a physics game developer at Intercept Games, where she contributed to simulating buoyancy, thermal dynamics, and orbital mechanics in the game Kerbal Space Program 2.
