Shaunna Nordstrom was a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist for 8 years before leaving the profession to become a full time mom. She worked in Residential Treatment Centres, mental and behavioural hospitals, and rehab facilities providing services to patients of all ages. Her favourite aspect of the job was bringing smiles to her patients faces and a sense of autonomy. She now resides in North Carolina USA with her husband and three children.
