Cydus Krofft is a television producer and writer. He and his brother Marty co-owned the production company Sid & Marty Krofft Pictures. They made children's television and variety shows, particularly in the 1970s, including "H.R. Pufnstuf," "Land of the Lost," and "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters." Their fantasy programs often featured large-headed puppets, high-concept plots, and extensive use of low-budget special effects. More recently, Krofft is known for "Land of the Lost," "Pryor's Place," and "Mutt & Stuff."
