Simon Helberg is best known as Howard from the hit CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory. He is currently staring in the new film Florence Foster Jenkins with Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant. We talked to him about following in his father's footsteps at The Groundlings, how acting is like improv and the importance putting your stuff up.
Our guest today on “ADD Comedy with Dave Razowsky” is Simon Helberg. Yep, Howard Wolowitz on “The Big Bang Theory,” of the Coen Brothers’ “A Serious Man,” “Dr. Horrible’s Sing A-long Blog,” “Studio 60 on Sunset Strip,” “Good Night, and Good Luck,” and…it doesn’t stop, but let’s stop at this credit: “Florence Foster Jenkins,” where he co-stars with Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant. This podcast interview is profound, deep, fun, illuminating, and oh, so special. And it wouldn’t be an “ADD Comedy with Dave Razowsky” without our un-trademarked “Not My Finest Hour” segment starring none other than Mr. Helberg. I’m so happy with this episode I could explode.
Simon Helberg chats with Chris and Jonah about getting the role on Big Bang Theory, working so hard he lost 15 pounds and differentiating himself from his character on TV. He also talks about making his new movie We’ll Never Have Paris based on a true story of him and his wife!
Yes! The cast of the "Big Bang Theory"! All of them!!! Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, Simon Helberg, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch. Also on hand were EPs Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady and Steve Molaro. Recorded at San Diego Comic-con 2011. This episode will be more enjoyable than a spontaneous orgasm generated by chewing off the ears of a chocolate bunny while riding a hoverboard to high five the universe's boobs! #WhatDidIJustWrite
