Steve Scrivens is the former Programming Manager of the Award-winning Regional Theatre; Royal & Derngate in Northampton England.
In 2014 he relocated from the UK to an idyllic rural setting in Vermont, USA, establishing a freelance event curation and tour booking enterprise in Montpelier, the Vermont State Capitol.
Since that time he has contributed, in 2015 to the project management of the Governor's Arts Award and also twice sat as a panelist adjudicating the Facilities Grants Awards for the Vermont Council on the Arts.
He is a Trustee for the South Burlington City Center for the Arts and heads up a project to establish a pop-up touring venue to provide a rural touring facility for Vermont.
Later, in 2018 he started work on Producing a new play about the life of Frida Kahlo with British Actress, Rebecca Grant (Holby City, Midsomer Murders) which is still on-going.
The advent of the Covid-19 Pandemic prompted him to start his first ever Podcast to explore the impact of the Pandemic on the Performing Arts Sector asking the series of questions that gave rise to the Podcast Title; 'What If, What Now, What Next?' which was first published on March 15, 2021, the Anniversary of the shutdown of Broadway and the West End Theatre district in the UK.
