Stuart Yasgur brings 15 years of experience in advancing innovations that use market forces to address social challenges at large scale. As the founder and principal of Economic Architecture, Stuart leads a team of researchers and storytellers to foster, design, and build a wider public understanding of structural innovations. Projects such as the Valuing Homes in Black Communities Challenge, created by Stuart with Dr. Andre Perry, a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, and Project H2O, a new mortgage liquidity product, seek to (re)design our markets to serve the public good.
Previously, as a Global Leadership Group Member at Ashoka, Stuart initiated efforts that directed more than $500 million to innovative market-based solutions, engaged with the G20 through multiple Summits, and has taught at NYU and LSE. Stuart holds a PhD from LSE, a master’s from Columbia, and a bachelor’s from Cornell.
