Dr. Suresh Naidu is a Professor in Economics and International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. His work focuses on effects of political transitions, economic history of slavery and labor institutions, international migration, and the economic applications of natural language processing.Naidu received his B.Math. from University of Waterloo, his M.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California Berkeley.
