During that year in industry, she worked at Janssen Pharmaceutica in the in vivo department implementing an electrophysiological technique to test potential dementia drugs. For her PhD, Tabitha stayed in dementia research but moved into behavioural mouse models of amyloid pathology and joined Dr Szu-Han Wang’s group at the University of Edinburgh. In 2023, she joined Professor David Dupret’s group at the University of Oxford as a postdoctoral researcher to study memory-guided behaviour using optogenetics and large-scale single-unit recordings.
