Tanya D. Marsh is an attorney and Professor of Law. She focuses on property, real estate, and funeral and cemetery law. Currently, she is a Law Professor at Wake Forest University.
Marsh is the creator and primary author of The Funeral Law Blog and a contributor to The Huffington Post. She has published many papers and co-edited the 2015 textbook, "Cemetery Law: The Common Law of Burying Grounds in the United States." Her first book, "The Law of Human Remains," was published in 2015.
Marsh received her B.A. in History and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington and her J.D. from Harvard University.
