Tara Campbell is a writer, teacher, and fiction editor at Barrelhouse. Campbell's stories have appeared in SmokeLong Quarterly, Masters Review, Jellyfish Review, Booth, Strange Horizons, and Escape Pod/Artemis Rising. Her first novel, "TreeVolution," was published in 2019. Campbell teaches fiction at American University, Johns Hopkins University's Advanced Academic Programs, the Writer's Center, Politics and Prose, Catapult, and the National Gallery of Art's Virtual Studio. Campbell has a B.A. in English, an M.A. in German, and received her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from American University.
