Tarell Alvin McCraney is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter best known for co-writing the Oscar-winning film Moonlight, based on his play In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue. He also created the TV series David Makes Man and wrote Choir Boy and The Brother/Sister Plays. A MacArthur “Genius” Grant recipient, McCraney is the Artistic Director of Geffen Playhouse and teaches at Yale School of Drama.
