Tim McRae is #9 out of 10 kids. His first job was at McRae Brothers Inc. "I Was 7 years old", says McCrae, "I would sweep, mop, and cleaned out the bathrooms, washers and dryers. They taught me the value of a dollar at an early age and I've been chasing it ever since." As far back as Tim could remember, he dreamed about running the family business one day because of the greatness that surrounded him. So, he got his CDL TRUCK DRIVER LICENSE and began to deliver heating oil for McRae Brothers. When I wasn't on the oil truck I would be on the phones handling the dispatching. Fast forward to 2005. Tim asked the remaining 2 twin brothers for a $1 dollar raise...and since his dad never went against his twin brother, the answer was "NO". Tim left the family business with his last name and an old oil truck he bought and started TIM MCRAE OIL LLC. For 3 years he was his dad's direct competitor until they retired in 2008 and closed MCRAE BROTHERS INC for good. Lesson learned? From 2005 until 2018, Tim ran his oil company until global warming and the lack of newer homes having oil heaters pushed him into another direction that he remembered from my younger years. In 2013, he purchased a food truck custom built out of Florida to supplement his income during the summer months not knowing this would change his life forever. "There are 3 things that are recession-proof," says Tim, "Alcohol, Drugs, and Food." So, Tim hit the ground running with a clever name and a passion to succeed - WTF? FOOD TRUCK was born which stood for: WHERE'S THE FOOD? He owned and operated that until 2018 when he sold the truck to focus on his takeout food stand which is in operation today. Thru their many WTF? COMMERCIAL COMEDY SKITS and social media platforms our WTF? brand is pretty well known throughout the tri-state area and they plan to capitalize on that as well with acting roles and everything entertaining.
