Tim Meadows is an American actor, comedian, and writer best known for his decade-long tenure on Saturday Night Live (1991–2000), where he became one of the longest-serving cast members and received a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1993. Meadows brought his improvisational background from Chicago’s Second City to SNL, contributing both as a performer and writer. He reprised the Leon Phelps character in the 2000 film The Ladies Man and has since appeared in numerous television series and films, including recurring roles on The Goldbergs, Schooled, and Mean Girls.
