Dr. Anthony Steven Evers is an educator and politician. Currently, he is the Governor of Wisconsin. Previously, Evers was Wisconsin's Superintendent of Public Instruction. Evers worked as a teacher for several years, then became a school principal, then district superintendent. He was appointed deputy superintendent in 2001, and served until he was elected Superintendent of Public Instruction in 2009. Evers his B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in educational administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
