Toshiya A. Kamei is a writer and translator. Kamei's short fiction has appeared in Daily Science Fiction, SmokeLong en Español, and various indie anthologies. His translations have appeared in Clarkesworld, The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, and Strange Horizons, and the published collections "The Global Game," "Sudden Fiction Latino," and "My Mother She Killed Me, My Father He Ate Me." He has translated Liliana Blum’s "The Curse of Eve and Other Stories," Naoko Awa’s "The Fox’s Window and Other Stories," Espido Freire’s "Irlanda," and Selfa Chew’s "Silent Herons." Kamei received his M.F.A. in Literary Translation from the University of Arkansas.
