Travis Heermann was an author, freelance writer, screenwriter, publisher, and editor. Heermann worked as an instructor at the University of Nebraska Omaha English Department, and was a facilitator for Lighthouse Writer’s Workshop. He owned Bear Paw Publishing and the film production company Bear Paw Films. Heermann's work has appeared in Apex Magazine, Alembical, Blood & Gasoline, BattleTech: Legacy, and in anthologies. He published 30 books, including 9 novels, 3 young-adult novels, and 9 children's books under the pseudonym T. James Logan.
