A researcher with more than 20 years’ experience in artificial intelligence and computer vision, he has worked in applied research since 2004 and is currently R&D Manager at Wama Group. His focus is on AI-driven video-surveillance systems for critical infrastructure and high-risk industrial facilities. Over the years he has built deep expertise in stochastic modelling and unsupervised generative learning, applying these methods to complex biological systems, computational ethology, and autonomous aerospace navigation.
In parallel, he pursues authorial photography projects that explore human perception and cognitive biases—particularly the phenomenon of plant blindness—and collaborates with street artists to document urban-renewal interventions. His work has appeared in publications such as Corriere della Sera, Domus, and Vogue, and has been included in exhibitions curated by Denis Curti and Guido Harari.
