Wendy Green has been a trainer in the corporate world for most of her career. Started out in technical training and eventually moved into more leadership training and professional development. In 2005, the entrepreneurial bug got her, and she opened a franchise called KidzArt, which she ran successfully for about 6 years. Looking for more steady security, she rejoined the corporate world as a Director of Training. In March of 2020, Wendy was laid off due to the Covid-19 shutdowns. At 66 years old, the idea of looking for another job was unappealing and she decided to create a Facebook Live, called Hey, Boomer. The mission of Hey, Boomer is to inspire people over 55 to live their lives to the fullest, to recognize that they are still relevant, that they have experience and wisdom to share with the world and that they can contribute to making the world a better place in whatever way makes sense for them.
