William Lempert is a cultural anthropologist and filmmaker whose work centers on Indigenous media, visual anthropology, and social change in Australia. He is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Bowdoin College and has conducted extensive ethnographic research with Aboriginal filmmakers in the Northern Territory.
