Yoon Ha Lee is a writer of science fiction and fantasy fiction. He is known for his "Machineries of Empire" space opera novels.Lee's stories have appeared in Fantasy & Science Fiction, Ideomancer, Clarkesworld, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and Lightspeed, and have been collected in anthologies. His first novel, "Ninefox Gambit," was published in 2016 and received the 2017 Locus Award for Best First Novel. He has published six novels and four collections of short fiction.
