This production was created thanks to a partnership between Sydney’s premiere Pacific Islands cultural centre, Matavai Pacific Cultural Arts and Pelesasa Pictures.The production is described as ‘A communal voice of the Pacific Islands communities of Australia, showcasing theatre, dance, music and other creative arts - all streamed through the eyes of Pasifika-Western Sydney. The production will encompass all the beautiful things about our communities, whilst still having the ability to hold a mirror up to ourselves and the wider Australian communities and our calls for change.’Motu of Western Sydney will be at The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith in the evening on Friday 15th July and Saturday 16th of July 2022.
