We are 2 Lowe Brothers. We bought a microphone. We create podcasts. Ever since we were young kids, we were best friends, we competed, we punched each other (but never in the face – that was our rule), but there was a hope and a sense that one day we would find something we could both pour ourselves into. We think we found it. Our paths have criss-crossed a bit in our adult lives, but here we are again, living in Southern California, lucky enough to be spending a lot of time together.

The idea for a podcast came about sort of as a joke. See, for us, it was normal to sit around in the kitchen late at night (which is 9pm for Wade) and find ourselves in discussions, sometimes deep and spiritual, sometimes raunchy and hilarious, but always entertaining. One night, after failing to come up with that brilliant business idea that would allow us to “really” work together, one of us mentioned that we should do a podcast. That comment turned into us sitting in Best Buy’s parking lot at 8am on a the next Saturday morning (they open at 9am) waiting to buy a microphone. We plugged it in, recorded an intro, recorded our first podcast, and starting brainstorming ideas about creating the website. A couple short months later, we have the website, we have 4 recorded podcasts, and two published blog posts, and we’re pretty stoked about it.

This is our first podcast. Our goals are loosely defined. If nothing else, we have a great website and we’re building an audio library documenting this stage of our lives. Best case scenario, we strike a chord with some of you, and provide you with positive, funny, enlightening podcasts that make your day just a little bit better. That’s not too ambitious, right!? We’re also using this as an opportunity to extend a helping hand to anyone who requests it. We’ve been through a lot, we’ve stumbled frequently, we’ve overcome, and we’ve grown along the way. That might help you relate to us. Oh, and we know a lot of people, so if we can’t help you, we’ll try to find someone that can.
