2:34

we've got an NFL draft coming up

2:37

next week. I know LaVar Arrington is going

2:39

to be on the coverage for that. We've

2:41

got a team that's picking near the top of

2:43

the draft at number six in the New York

2:45

Giants. We've discussed some potential

2:49

of the New York Giants maybe taking

2:51

a quarterback or maybe they just take

2:53

the best available wide receiver at that

2:55

point. They're going to have some options

2:57

there. One of

2:59

the stories that's kind of making the rounds

3:01

a little bit is what's happening on the

3:03

coaching staff. Brian Davall maybe rubbed

3:06

some people the wrong way last year with the way

3:08

he handled certain things. Well, their

3:10

offensive coordinator, Mike Kafka, spoke

3:12

yesterday with the media about

3:15

the fact that he had interviewed

3:17

in Seattle for the head coaching job. He'd

3:19

also potentially talked about wanting to be their

3:21

offensive coordinator as well too. So

3:24

welcome to New York where those sort of details

3:26

you get asked about over and over again until

3:28

you give them an answer they like. I don't

3:30

know if that's been out there or anything. All

3:32

I know is like last year is last year

3:35

and there was a lot of things you need

3:37

to get better at from coaches, players, everybody. We

3:39

just got to improve. And so I'm not going

3:41

to go too far into the past. I kind

3:43

of put that in my rear view. We've learned

3:45

from it. We've grown from it. And we're

3:47

really excited about phase one and today is the

3:49

first day at the start. After

3:52

you interviewed with Seattle to be their

3:54

head coach, they also

3:57

requested an interview with you to be their offensive coordinator.

4:00

coordinator. Why do you

4:02

think the Seahawks thought you were interested

4:04

in a lateral move? Were

4:07

you interested in making a lateral move to

4:09

somebody else's O.C.? I

4:11

must have done a good job. But no,

4:14

I mean, it was a great opportunity there. I love

4:16

the people there. Jodie, John, it was

4:18

a great experience. But that's what it was. It was

4:20

a great experience. I can carry that

4:22

over into the future. So were

4:24

you interested in lateral moves or only in the

4:26

Giants O.C.? No, I'm here. I'm excited to be

4:28

here with the Giants. Man,

4:31

I love New York. There's

4:34

always drama. I

4:36

wonder what that dude who asked the question

4:38

looks like, man. Was that AI? Artificial

4:42

intelligence. Man,

4:44

I just, I've read an article about

4:47

how AI girlfriends are

4:49

going to become a thing of the future. And

4:52

it's like a $1 billion industry. No

4:54

kidding. Yeah. Guys are just going to

4:56

come home and they're going to have their little

4:58

AI girlfriends that look the

5:00

way they want them to look. They talk to them the way

5:03

they want to talk to them, all that. Yeah. They'll

5:05

comfort them. A real person. No,

5:07

no, no. Oh, they'll comfort them.

5:09

I got you. I got you. Well,

5:11

I mean, the AI could have been like,

5:14

you know, kind of installed in like iBot.

5:17

Yeah, right. There you go. That

5:20

would be expensive. You say

5:23

it looked the way that you want them to look. Yeah,

5:25

they'll be on a screen. You can see them. It's

5:28

already happening now. There's AI models now for stuff. Hey,

5:30

bro. That is creepy. I

5:33

mean, whatever. If that's what you're into,

5:36

you're a creeper. Like, you're creepy. It

5:38

makes all those guys who've bought blow-up dolls feel better

5:41

about themselves. I mean, there's definitely more of a qualification

5:43

there. At

5:45

least I got to do some work and blow this thing up,

5:47

you know? I'm just saying. There's an air

5:49

valve there. It's not going to do it itself. So I've

5:51

got to put this thing together. I mean, at least it's

5:53

tangible. Yeah. You know, you could talk to the

5:55

blow-up. And you could throw it in the pool

5:58

afterwards when you're done. float

6:00

I get it multi-purpose

6:04

but you said they're looking at a screen I

6:08

mean that go to an adult film like go

6:10

to an adult site what are you doing that

6:13

get a screed you go to talk to me

6:16

who what you

6:19

got problems man whoever you are out there

6:21

you using it you got now I yes

6:24

I'm judging you yeah I did I'm judging

6:26

you strange man let

6:28

you know weird stuff out there I hope none

6:31

of y'all on the show do it but if

6:33

you if you do you don't have to admit

6:35

it to me but you're you're you're strange yeah

6:37

just saying with love and respect but I mean

6:40

keep listening I'm talking to

6:42

one of y'all if it's you Q or

6:44

Lee or Eddie you know Lorena

6:47

if any of y'all doing that you're weird just

6:50

letting you know I'm judging you yeah okay

6:52

well you see the truck I drive

6:55

yeah so it's possible more likely you're

6:57

not that event more likely I'm blowing it up than I am

6:59

looking at a screen you know a little

7:02

bit outdated in my parts now

7:05

all of that I've never understood blow-up

7:07

dolls either because they look so much

7:09

like a blow-up doll like it's like

7:12

you're you're sick you're not just weird

7:15

you're sick in the head if you're

7:17

using a blow-up doll just let you

7:19

know I'm in a

7:21

judgmental mood right now I'm just I'm

7:23

just saying I know some people that

7:26

would put it in their passenger seat

7:28

so they could drive in the uh

7:30

you know the hov again serves multiple

7:32

purposes you can't put I understand that

7:35

yeah you know I don't

7:37

understand that the same person told me they did that

7:39

they put a seat belt on it like what does

7:42

it matter if there's a seat belt on this

7:44

it's a blow-up doll you gotta save it you

7:46

just gotta look the part like you're trying to

7:48

drive safely right when it's not to get pulled

7:50

over you could I'm about to say you could

7:52

get in so the cops gonna see the blow-up

7:54

doll doesn't have a seat belt on it you're

7:56

gonna get pulled over are you aware you're driving

7:58

in the car pool lane Without

8:00

a steeple on your blow up doll. I don't know

8:03

if anybody else would be up for this, but people

8:05

are listening to us that work

8:08

with law enforcement. If you

8:10

are somebody listening to this and you've pulled over somebody

8:12

who had a blow up doll in the passenger seat.

8:14

Please call in. Please do. Call

8:16

in. Would you be open for that? Would

8:19

you guys be open for a phone call? She's a cop. Please

8:21

call in. Please. Because I

8:23

want to hear how weird a weirdo

8:25

that sounds. 877-9900-Fox, 877-996-6369. That's

8:32

877-996-6369. If

8:35

you are a police officer and you have

8:37

pulled over somebody who had a blow up

8:39

doll in the passenger seat. Oh my gosh.

8:42

That is never for you. I

8:44

hope you arrested them. Which

8:47

one? Both. Yeah, because they'd have

8:49

a seat belt on. Which one? They're getting cuffed

8:52

too. I popped

8:54

the blow up doll. I hope

8:56

you popped the blow up doll. Just tase it.

8:58

Just tase it to see what happened. I

9:01

hope you tased the blow up doll. And

9:05

then tase the dude. Down the ground. I

9:10

was about to say something real. I was about to get

9:12

cancelled. I was about to get cancelled. I'm

9:14

glad I didn't say it. I said it in my head. It was

9:17

funny as hell too. I didn't

9:19

say it. I'm glad that I censored

9:21

myself. Somebody really

9:23

called in too. Holy smokes.

9:26

And that's a wrap up our coverage

9:29

of Mike Kafka and the offensive

9:32

coordinator. Yeah. I

9:36

forgot we were talking about that for

9:39

a second. He's hung up. It does

9:41

appear that Brian Dayball has got

9:43

some work to repair the coaching staff there because

9:45

it feels like he pissed a lot of people

9:47

off last year. Which is unfortunate

9:50

because Dump Truck nuts Brian Dayball

9:52

the year before. Coach of the

9:54

year. Cooking. Yeah. Yeah.

9:57

It was cooking. The next thing you know he pisses off Wink

9:59

Martindale and you know. There's all sorts of stuff that's come out

10:01

now. So now Mike

10:03

Kafka. It is interesting though that he would interview

10:05

to be a head coach and then be like,

10:09

well, I didn't get that. I

10:11

mean, I'll take the other one if you guys are

10:13

hiring for that one. And the Giants are like, now

10:15

we're gonna go ahead and keep you back. So I

10:17

don't know if he was that excited

10:19

to get the hell out of there or what, or

10:22

maybe he saw the situation being better for him and

10:24

his family. But nonetheless, Mike Kafka

10:26

is back in New York and potentially

10:28

gonna work with Daniel Jones and his

10:30

swan song as a Giants quarterback. That

10:33

damn energy. If they don't

10:35

take a quarterback in this draft, do

10:39

you kind of look at this year as a lame duck year for

10:41

the Giants? I mean, even if they go with wide receiver and a

10:44

playmaker, do you just kind of look at it and go, what's

10:47

there to be excited about? I

10:49

mean, when you said Brock Bowers, I got

10:51

excited. I think, depending

10:54

on the tight end, right?

10:57

And not the tight end? Did the potential them

10:59

drafting and pairing a weird wall or? Man, when

11:02

you said that, I got excited about that. I

11:04

ain't gonna lie. Really? It doesn't matter

11:06

who their quarterback is? Well, because

11:08

you can eventually get a quarterback. That's,

11:11

I think this is a lame duck year

11:13

either way. Really? Whether they take

11:15

one in the draft or not, it's a

11:17

lame duck year and it's a year for

11:20

that rookie to kind of

11:22

get acclimated to the league.

11:25

So I almost look like it's a lame duck year. One

11:29

way or the other. I don't have high expectations for

11:31

the Giants this year. I

11:33

don't. Yeah. It's kind

11:35

of sad. I mean, I just. You know, everyone talks at the beginning

11:37

of the year, they get in training camp, they're like, we're gonna do

11:40

it. This is the year boys. We're

11:42

gonna win a Super Bowl. John Mads. This is our

11:44

year, man. John Mads is. No one else matters but

11:46

us. Us against the world, man. No one believes but

11:48

us. I will bungee court out

11:51

of the good year blimp at the

11:53

50 yard line at halftime. If the

11:55

Washington, ours are in the Super Bowl.

11:57

I don't even want you to do

11:59

that. Bro, do you hear

12:01

what I'm telling you John Matt was afraid

12:03

of heights? That

12:05

man told me in a

12:07

pre-season meeting That

12:10

how do you respond to that? I was

12:13

like, well, we're gonna prove you wrong coach Yeah,

12:15

I get where you're coming from How

12:18

far into the season before you were like, did he

12:20

say that to you or did you

12:22

say like hey cut? Well, we're gonna prove you wrong

12:25

coach. He was like Oh, okay

12:29

This has such like what he did return even he didn't

12:31

say anything All

12:34

I know is he looked at me

12:37

like Son

12:39

you haven't lived enough life If

12:42

you're saying to me right now that you think

12:44

your team is going to the Super Bowl you

12:46

have it you just Yeah,

12:48

you haven't lived enough life. So

12:50

there you go And he was right,

12:54

I don't even remember what year it was but

12:56

I was always getting into it with people I

12:58

called out John Leno one time Jay Jay Leno

13:01

He says he was making jokes on you

13:03

know how they make their jokes going into

13:05

like segments and stuff He

13:07

made us a punchline the one is

13:09

jokes I said come bring bring Jay

13:11

Leno to redskins but what that's known

13:13

known as Redskins Park back Well,

13:15

the story is the story. The story

13:18

is the story. So it was Redskins

13:20

Park I

13:22

said bring in the Redskins Park Lee

13:24

you call the cops Dress

13:31

them other dress that mother after up

13:34

and in a uniform and let's do

13:36

some Oklahoma's I want to do someone

13:38

on ones with Jay Leno Like

13:41

I want to eff him up like sit it

13:43

just like that and he called me He

13:46

called me an apologize Yeah,

13:49

how big is Jay? How was that of gone? See

13:52

I'm big I would be speaking as someone with a

13:54

big head that dude's got a big head. He does

13:56

have a big head He's got a huge head. He's

13:58

got a big hole this before his car

14:01

explosion? Oh yeah that's right he

14:03

did burn right? Yeah his face got completely

14:05

like melted off. Yeah it was before then.

14:07

Yeah. It was a while ago then huh?

14:09

Yeah. When did he

14:11

blow his face up? How do

14:13

we know LaVar wasn't involved in that? I

14:16

had nothing to do with that. I had

14:18

no no connection to that at all. Yeah

14:22

no. I wasn't in on that

14:25

but I would have did Oklahoma drills with him. Jonas

14:28

is actually looking up how big is Jay Leno's

14:30

head. Oh 5'11". No I mean his head is

14:32

probably 5'11 too but yeah 5'11". I

14:37

don't see a wait listed but yeah I would

14:39

think 5'11". You could probably light him up Bart.

14:41

Yeah light him up. I

14:44

would have took him down. Even

14:46

if he was bigger than that I would have took him down.

14:48

You guys ended up good terms already. We did. Yeah. Never heard

14:51

from him again. After I was like yeah it's all

14:53

good man we're good. Never heard from him again. I

14:55

thought we were friends after that. I had him saved

14:57

in my phone and everything. Really? Yeah. Under

15:00

friend. Jay Leno friend.

15:02

He caught me. Yeah

15:05

I threatened

15:08

him. Why would we be friends? I

15:10

don't know. How many? Delusional back then.

15:12

Do you think there's any any players

15:15

that are like at these voluntary workouts

15:17

right now that are looking around going

15:20

why the F am

15:22

I here? Well that and A.

15:25

This ain't going to be good. Is it this

15:28

early? Is it this early in the

15:30

offseason that you can notice? We're going to

15:32

have a run this year. I don't think

15:34

so but. I would say

15:36

once you've been to enough places you recognize

15:39

when teams are really really

15:41

good. Oh yeah you know when they're

15:44

good. Though this time

15:46

of year. When I got to Seattle

15:48

in 2013 I was like

15:50

dang. This is the best team

15:52

ever. That's true. I was like

15:54

I mean I've been on a team that had been in the

15:56

playoffs but I was like man this is this

15:59

feels like. that team but like everyone's

16:01

there's depth there's everything I

16:03

mean guys fighting just to make

16:05

the roster that you knew will be starters

16:08

elsewhere and that happened so that

16:10

was they went on to win the

16:12

Super Bowl which I was like all right I guess that's

16:14

kind of true but I feel

16:17

like you can tell but can you tell if

16:19

you're bad I know if you can tell if

16:21

you're good can you tell if you're bad oh

16:23

yeah I mean again in retrospect looking back like

16:25

every time I was with a team after that

16:27

I was like oh this isn't gonna be good

16:30

you can tell

16:33

from like here's the

16:35

thing I'd been so

16:37

many places at that point I

16:40

could walk in and get a general

16:42

sense for like is the front office on the

16:44

same page is the coaching staff in the front office on

16:46

the same page you know how is

16:48

the offense and the defense you know kind of working

16:50

you know separately but together like you could get a

16:53

sense for all of that so you're are they are

16:55

they click that so they're not click you

16:57

was in the organization like what the

17:00

first the first thing that you could feel there

17:02

was there was a disconnect between you know

17:05

Rex Ryan and John is like hmm and

17:07

then the longer you're there you're kind of like okay

17:09

it just it felt

17:12

like that the players felt that

17:14

too and you know that

17:16

that's that's why I always speak to like an

17:19

organization and ownership because if

17:21

I could feel that as a player just

17:23

got there and you talk to some

17:25

other players and they obviously feel that they see it

17:28

then how does the owner not and

17:30

so if the owner knew that kind of stuff was

17:32

going on you have to address

17:34

it and you've got to get a front office or

17:36

a general manager and a head coach to get on

17:38

the same page if they can't work together move on

17:41

like there's no way at that point the year you get

17:45

a drag that situation into into

17:47

a season like you should have

17:49

made that change before the OTAs

17:51

and offseason started and

17:54

so that that's that's all I would always point

17:56

to is like it starts with ownership because

17:59

you've You've got to be able to have a sense

18:02

for what's going on beneath you,

18:04

and you're the only one who can ultimately fix

18:06

it. Because, I mean, most

18:08

guys are pretty stubborn. Most guys, even if they're successful,

18:10

they're going to be really stubborn. And

18:12

you've got to be the one to ultimately see and say, hey, this isn't

18:14

working. We've got to change it to go a different direction, bring other people

18:17

in here who can get this thing to work. Meanwhile,

18:19

there's probably fans of that team that you were with

18:21

that are like, no, this is the year. This

18:23

is going to be the year. You could just pull them aside and be like,

18:25

no, it ain't. It's not.

18:27

Trust me. I'm not building. I've

18:30

seen it. So we will keep and

18:32

monitor the Giants OC situation

18:35

there. By the way, Lee, I know the

18:37

phones rang. Did we get

18:39

somebody from the police department call with a

18:41

story about pulling over somebody who had a

18:43

blow up doll in the passenger seat? Or

18:46

maybe they're afraid to give out their name on the air

18:49

because they don't want to get in trouble. Yeah,

18:51

no luck with the real

18:53

officer didn't pass the check. He passed the

18:55

real officer's check. So people were calling trying

18:58

to pretend to be officers and you could

19:00

sniff them out that they weren't real. You

19:02

sniffed them out? Oh yeah. You

19:04

ain't no police. Yeah. Good luck

19:06

getting through. Good luck getting through that. Uh oh. The

19:09

phones ringing now. It

19:12

19:22

He's going along with this one though. Could

19:26

be a real one. This could be

19:28

a real police officer calling. No. No.

19:31

No. No. No.

19:34

Go to break. Probably hear somebody

19:36

is going to get on air and say just act

19:38

bad. We're going to have to

19:40

totally dump them out. It's probably Todd pretending to be

19:42

a cop. Got nothing

19:44

to leave no dice? No

19:50

we got some mallard militia on the line. They

19:52

ain't no cops. Yeah, definitely not. Ain't no cops.

19:54

They're the people cops pull over. You ain't no

19:56

cops. You ain't no cops. Alright so coming up

19:58

next we are going to We are

20:00

23:25

Here on of us are so

23:27

I'm some the Michigan Wolverines about

23:30

their punishments have been announced. For.

23:32

Their recruiting violations. For.

23:35

Texting during a dead period.

23:38

During. Cobra back in Twenty twenty when

23:40

I was the see a Jim Harbaugh.

23:42

The stuff out there were, you know

23:44

he. Bought. somebody a hamburger also

23:46

like that was part of this stuff

23:48

as well to this is part of

23:51

why he served the suspensions is passed

23:53

off or past season for the michigan

23:55

wolverines or but nonetheless they have been

23:57

now d violations involved illicit recruiting and

24:00

coaching during the COVID-19 dead period according

24:02

to a notice of allegations handed out

24:04

by the NCAA in December. And

24:07

so they face these level two

24:09

violations regarding staffers. And

24:11

so the punishments have been handed out

24:13

for Michigan. They will

24:16

serve three years probation. They

24:18

will pay fine and face recruiting restrictions

24:20

and the coaches involved will face a

24:23

one year show cause order. So

24:25

it doesn't appear like that's

24:27

the most, you know,

24:29

I guess, punished team

24:31

in the history of college football and the

24:33

fact that they just won a national title.

24:36

Eh, whatever. My business is usually.

24:38

Yeah, like you just kind of move on and get

24:40

ready for a spring game this weekend. I mean, feels

24:42

like everything's good to go in Ann Arbor. Ready

24:45

to run. I think it's more interesting the NCAA

24:47

is actually doling out punishments still. Yeah, I agree.

24:49

Thanks. At least there were

24:51

recruiting violations, granted this happened during COVID.

24:53

So about four years ago, um,

24:57

had some power, some semblance of power,

24:59

I guess, but now it

25:02

seems like every single time they challenge

25:04

a university or the challenge a state

25:07

law, if you will, it just, it fails

25:09

miserably every single time. So kind

25:12

of surprising, you know, there's, there's a little bit

25:14

of punishment coming from the NCAA. Uh,

25:17

ultimately does it matter? No,

25:19

Michigan got their national championship. I

25:22

don't know how much this benefited

25:24

them to winning that

25:26

national championship. Um, you know,

25:28

their COVID year was actually a really bad year

25:30

for them. You know, if

25:33

you, if you recall their COVID year, they

25:35

actually didn't play Ohio state, that was a

25:37

tough year, a rough year. And whatever

25:39

happened and transformed, you know, over

25:41

that, that year into

25:43

the 2021, 2022,

25:46

2023 runs is also what

25:48

led to that to winning a

25:50

national championship. But I don't know

25:53

how effective, um, and

25:55

it, the claims were, which, which, by the way, I mean, some of the

25:57

claims were, uh, You're,

26:00

what do they call them? Not

26:02

quality control, but they basically

26:05

had some kind of consultants who were down there on the

26:07

field actually coaching with some of the kids. That

26:10

was part of the punishment, you're not allowed to do

26:12

that. Even though some of those

26:14

rules have been changed now, you can actually have

26:16

a much bigger staff. So again,

26:19

it probably sounds like a slap on the wrist to some

26:21

people out there. A lot of

26:23

this stuff has changed even since 2020. So

26:26

I'm not really sure how punitive

26:28

you can be in retrospect. There

26:33

must have been. I mean, I think

26:35

a lot of people, why do

26:37

I say a lot of people? I

26:39

think when Harbaugh accepted the

26:41

punishment to

26:44

me, it felt as though there

26:46

was something much deeper there if

26:50

they had kept going. And

26:53

I would ultimately say maybe that's why

26:55

there have been punishments handed down even

26:59

beyond Harbaugh taking

27:02

the disciplinary actions against or

27:05

accepting the punishment that he received.

27:08

So those are two separate things, FYI. Oh,

27:11

well, I don't know. I thought

27:13

the whole recruiting thing, when did

27:15

this recruiting issue come out? So

27:18

this was back in 2020. The

27:21

punishment he faced last year

27:23

actually had nothing to do

27:25

with this because they self-imposed

27:29

the initial three game suspension.

27:32

And then later in the season was actually

27:34

the sign stealing drama

27:37

that went on with the Big Ten. Well,

27:41

the early suspension was connected to this

27:43

though. Again,

27:45

it wasn't a suspension. It was self-imposed. The

27:47

first one. Walk yourself in your room. Yeah.

27:51

I don't know. It just seems like they

27:53

did some foul stuff. I mean, at the end,

27:55

my conclusion is it seems like they did some

27:57

foul stuff that they didn't want to hit the

27:59

surface. and you rather take

28:02

the violations and take the punishment

28:05

rather than having to deal

28:07

with what happens if that

28:09

information becomes public domain. That's

28:11

what it sounds like to me. Like,

28:14

let's just give us the punishment.

28:16

Let's just move on and let's

28:18

just hope that this ever comes

28:20

up. It's all public. It's just there's – I

28:22

mean, again, this is four years ago, so there's

28:24

not really – I

28:26

mean, Harbaugh's not there anymore. You

28:29

look at some of the people who are involved.

28:31

I mean, they're not coming

28:33

back. It's never all public. That's

28:35

what I would say. Even

28:38

what the public is, the public – like, what

28:40

the public getting in trouble

28:42

for, what's reported, whatever – the public

28:44

is – I mean, I get there's

28:46

a report, but it's never all public.

28:49

I mean, there's – I mean, just in

28:51

my assessment of it, I mean, it's never

28:53

all public. It could never

28:55

all be public. Well, what's public that you

28:57

have read that they've done? I haven't read

29:00

anything. I don't know anything about anything about

29:02

what they got going on. All I know

29:04

is I just know

29:06

how wicked this recruiting

29:09

is. I do know

29:11

that very, very intimately. And

29:13

I'm not saying for me. I'm saying I

29:16

know how deep that rabbit

29:19

hole goes. And a lot

29:21

of that stuff, if it ever saw the

29:23

dead – if you got caught is

29:25

one thing, even – I

29:27

just – I think there's a lot to the whole – when

29:31

you're disciplining somebody over recruiting, there's

29:33

a lot of information that could

29:35

come out from that and

29:38

could be damning information. I mean, I don't know

29:40

how damning. I don't know what it is. I'm

29:42

just assuming, just based off of – Okay, so

29:44

let's just go through what the infractions were. They

29:46

were contacting people during the dead period. That was

29:49

the first thing. Like,

29:51

what those conversations were, you're right. We

29:53

have no idea. But it's also irrelevant

29:55

because it was just the

29:57

fact that they should have been contacting people during that

29:59

period. They had

30:01

a kind of host that I believe some people

30:03

at times when they shouldn't have, they had people

30:06

who were considered to be consultants who were

30:09

on the field actually coaching players, which is

30:11

a no-no. I

30:13

think there's a cheeseburger involved, you know,

30:15

from Harbaugh. Outside of that,

30:17

there was maybe like one other kind

30:20

of minor deal. I

30:23

don't think this was like one of

30:26

those like, hey, the bad man got caught,

30:28

you know. I don't know. I

30:31

just feel like... You don't have to do that

30:33

these days. Why did this take so long to

30:35

come out? Like why

30:37

did this take so long to be... It came out

30:39

last year. The NCAA just sat on their hands with

30:42

punishment. That's what I'm saying, the punishment of it, why

30:44

did it take so long? If this happened in 2020,

30:46

why would it take so long to... It's

30:49

actually fairly common for the NCAA to take this

30:51

long. I mean, think about, for example, the punishment

30:54

USC got over the course of the

30:57

Reggie Bush and that whole deal. That's

30:59

why people question the punishment that was

31:01

handed out so fast for Harbaugh last

31:03

year during the sign stealing stuff. So

31:05

it was like, man, the NCAA never

31:08

operates this fast. Never. But

31:10

this time, they were able to figure it out in what felt

31:12

like 48 hours. It wasn't the NCAA

31:14

that was going out the punishment though for

31:16

the sign stealing. It was the Big Ten.

31:19

Okay. So again, we got to

31:21

be specific about this. Like there are two separate

31:23

things. Obviously, there's NCAA

31:26

rules that were broken, but the Big

31:28

Ten was who ultimately had

31:30

a lot of information,

31:32

a lot of the film that was working with

31:35

the NCAA to a degree. But

31:38

even the punishment for that, still

31:40

there could be more this upcoming year. They

31:43

took the initial punishment, but there's still a chance that

31:45

there could be more on the backside

31:47

of that whole deal at some point in

31:50

the future. You remember when they didn't play

31:52

Ohio State, Michigan, that is, didn't play Ohio

31:54

State during that COVID year. And yet all

31:56

these Ohio State blowhards that were like, oh,

31:58

they're just scared. They're scared. They know what's

32:01

going to happen. This is a sign of the times for

32:03

Michigan and They haven't

32:05

beaten them since like I Michigan

32:07

has been on this run now probably changes this

32:09

year But for the time being if you're a

32:11

Michigan fan and you found out like hey listen

32:14

Our head coach is gonna get suspended for a few games We're

32:18

gonna get pop for buying a guy a cheeseburger Potentially

32:20

and my body start rumbling when

32:23

they said cheeseburger man, but I

32:25

listen Did you gave it

32:27

up I did give it up quit I gave it

32:29

up you quit on the good stuff But

32:32

I just thought I don't think it's a

32:34

foregone conclusion that Ohio State dominates, Michigan either

32:37

by the way I Know

32:39

there's a lot of odds against them right

32:41

now, but I don't know that I

32:44

don't know that to be true Not in

32:46

a rivalry game. I'm sure I mean

32:49

Ohio State looks loaded, but Michigan

32:52

is Michigan. I will say that This

32:55

is what it is there But

32:57

I don't know that you know They

33:00

got their their punishment. Yeah, there's

33:02

what it is And I make your

33:04

punishment and now Jim Harbaugh's with the

33:06

Bulls living in an RV park to

33:08

get ready for the season Which is on the

33:11

water though. Yeah, that's sponsorship. Is that what that

33:13

is? I don't know. I saw that that was

33:15

pretty odd Yeah, he's you

33:17

know get out go get a little swim

33:19

a little little beach walk I mean, he's

33:21

probably got a little bit extra cash on

33:23

him cuz a little bit like rock Wilder

33:25

Beach Like where's that area?

33:28

I don't know Not not too not

33:31

too sure where they're putting that together Lee's more

33:33

of the Lease more of

33:35

a camper than I am so you would know

33:37

better than I would I mean our campers called

33:39

trailer park I father what's it called? Yeah,

33:42

there are some trailer parks out there, but not all

33:44

of them are you know a trailer

33:47

park? Yeah, like you

33:49

know that's that's you know, there's

33:51

RV parks and those are there's

33:53

upscale type deals So every

33:55

time I would drive along that area though, I think a dock

33:57

Waller. I think is what it's called, right? Yeah, that's in LA

34:00

There's an area where there's a bunch of RVs

34:02

there. That's what it looked like. That's that's LA

34:04

that's in like next to Manhattan Beach Wow,

34:07

sure. That's one of the two places

34:09

you could do a campfire on

34:11

the campfire. Yeah Yeah,

34:14

I mean you just got a lot of oil a

34:17

lot of oil over there If you want a campfire

34:19

you just do it under a freeway overpass nowadays. It

34:21

should be fine. He's don't do that Yeah, just do

34:23

it. I have to call the cops again Um,

34:26

yeah in the 805. We just go

34:29

to Rincon or carpenteria up that toward

34:31

that way for RV Yeah, you want to go over

34:33

there? You know what they call RVs where

34:39

No, you're gonna do it As

34:43

a second time I had to censor myself Broadcast

34:47

professional. Yeah when we're at the Jimmy Buffett concert,

34:49

it was getting the lowdown on the RV

34:53

etiquette and you know the upside-down pineapples

34:55

the flamingos What's

34:57

that mean Lee upside-down pineapple? I

34:59

know what it means. Come on over. Come on

35:01

in Doors don't have

35:03

a drink. I think that's what

35:06

Bella checks on Leave your shoes and your clothes

35:08

at the door. Bella checks on that Nantucket when

35:10

he did that that walk a shave video I'm

35:13

upside down pineapples. Okay. Well

so much drama in the LBC, it's

39:04

kind of hard being barbed, your double

39:07

G, but somehow, some way keep coming

39:09

up with funky like every

39:11

single day. May, I almost

39:14

slipped. But actually, that wasn't even, I could

39:16

have said that. No. I could have

39:18

said ass. We'll dump it. Well, I

39:20

didn't say, I didn't anyway. Two

39:35

what, if it's true, kind of

39:38

embarrassing. Kind of embarrassing, a little

39:40

bit cringe worthy. That'll be yours here coming

40:07

are some good things that happen and

40:09

there's some bad and then there's some

40:11

downright ugly things. It's

40:13

time for good, bad

40:16

and ugly. Alright, lead the lap. What do

40:18

we got? Well as we do each and every

40:20

Wednesday we start with the good and you know

40:22

it's a good week because we got Jonas delivering

40:24

the good. You sure? I

40:27

thought I was... Yeah. No. No,

40:30

I think I'm the bad this week as far

40:32

as like the rotation goes. I'm almost positive I'm

40:34

the bad. I mean that's what it says on

40:36

the rundown. Yeah, I'm looking at it here. It says... We

40:39

had some conversations. Oh.

40:43

During the show too at some point. Oh wow. What

40:45

happened? It's kind of like the first segment when Jonas was

40:47

trying to talk to Lee. I was just talking

40:50

to Lee. Oh, okay. So

40:52

I'm trying...I'm looking at it here. I

40:55

kind of just go with the vibe. Alright,

40:58

yeah. I feel real good. Alright. You

41:00

are subbing though. My good for the

41:02

week, Max Holloway,

41:06

UFC 300, winning

41:09

a fight against Justin Gaethje dominating

41:12

for four plus rounds and

41:15

when the ten second mark hits he says

41:17

stand in the middle and let's just throw. And

41:20

they stood in the middle and threw

41:22

and he knocks out Justin Gaethje with

41:24

one second left at the buzzer. One

41:27

of the great KOs you'll ever see

41:29

in combat history. One of the great

41:31

moments in the history of the UFC

41:33

and appropriate that it happened at their

41:35

biggest event to date UFC 300, Max

41:37

Holloway, the pride of Hawaii and our

41:40

friends listening on Fox Sports 990

41:42

in Oahu. You've

41:45

got a badass from your island yet

41:47

again and he's the new BMF

41:50

champion as he knocks out Justin Gaethje with one

41:52

second left. That's my good for the weekly. That

41:55

was an awesome highlight. I didn't get to watch all the fight

41:57

but saw that towards the end. It was pretty sweet. I was

41:59

going to ask for that. Is he

42:01

I just saw another champ I

42:04

think call him out right well There's Ilya to

42:06

pour yeah, who's yeah? That's what it's all kind

42:08

of reached out and he had said like they'll

42:10

be seeing each other soon But so it was

42:12

a lot of respect for one another thought as

42:14

much trash talk Although I would

42:16

say it to pour you kind of you know

42:19

bothers job Yeah, let takes

42:21

a little bit of a jab, but they're

42:23

trying to set up that fight in Spain

42:25

which would be awesome because to pour is

42:27

from Spain and and the

42:30

people he hangs out with Not

42:33

you know not bad not in the

42:35

tapas no They're not not

42:37

not a bad look they got into a nice Rio,

42:39

huh? No Feels

42:41

meal puppy But uh who's

42:43

got what next all right fellas? We can't have that

42:46

good without that bad Brady. What was bad this week?

42:48

Yeah, what was bad was what was last night? Probably

42:51

some math by Richard Miller or lack thereof Play

42:54

the sound here Lee because I know Jonas is bad.

42:56

He didn't get a chance to play this thing Did

42:58

you talk about on the bus? If

43:02

he makes the first one You're

43:04

up through You've had a purposely missed

43:07

the second one knowing if they don't have it any

43:09

time out time out and they've got to go coast

43:11

To coast because as soon as you miss it time

43:13

is going to start as soon as it's

43:15

touched Or do you just make them both

43:17

be up for and game over?

43:24

I'm gonna answer the question Self-diddy

43:26

like don't you just go up for?

43:30

Say games over another thing. I didn't understand

43:32

about the logic there is If

43:35

you let's just play it this way if you

43:37

make them both they Play it this

43:39

way if you make them both they stop to go

43:41

coast to coast there is no timeout So

43:44

whether or not they inbound and they launch it down That's

43:47

no different than if it's a missed basket, and

43:49

they launched down. There's no time he

43:51

makes the basket They gotta set up a play and play I Just

43:54

I'm shocked only because Reggie Miller's done this for

43:56

a long time. He's done a tremendous job. That

43:59

was one of those moments where in that kind

44:01

of big portion of the season a

44:04

little bit surprising that that's

44:06

kind of a mental gaff like that very confusing

44:08

he was tired i

44:12

could sit with that long game that was a

44:14

long day yeah uh well he's

44:16

probably hungry and you know my

44:19

man went to go get him some food for eating

44:21

you know zow went to get the food oh no

44:23

the uber eats from the uber best

44:28

well fellas from bad to worse lavor

44:30

what was ugly this week they just

44:33

ate out report on trevor bower the

44:35

q30 charge yeah that's pretty ugly funny

44:37

that won't get as much coverage as

44:39

the initial yeah right they got it

44:41

i mean it ruined them yeah it

44:43

totally ruined them and does he have

44:45

multiple excuses though and they've all basically

44:48

been fraudulent for the most

44:50

part yeah it's pretty interesting let's see if there's yes

44:52

or no it can't be for the most part it

44:55

was ugly Visita
