Cherien Dabis talks with Aisha Mershani, and stand-in cohost Roya Rastegar, about her Palestinian identity and how she represents Palestine in Hollywood. Cherien talks about the haters, and the supporters, in the industry and how she has navigated it all. She also gets personal about her queer identity and how that played a role in her work and life. The three discussed her films Amreeka and May in the Summer, the TV shows she's worked on, such as the original L Word, and Ramy, the latest violence by Israel and the subsequent online activism for Palestine.
